Jenna Jaxon is a multi-published author of historical and contemporary romance. She is currently finishing edits to the last book of her Georgian House of Pleasure series, Only Pleasure Will Do, due to release in late August. In June 2020 she will begin writing the sixth and final book of The Widows’ Club series, with the working title The Widow Wore Plaid.
Jenna has been reading and writing historical romance since she was a teenager. A romantic herself, she has always loved a dark side to the genre, a twist, suspense, a surprise. She tries to incorporate all of these elements into her own stories. She lives in Virginia with her family and a small menagerie of pets. When not reading or writing, she indulges her passion for the theatre, working with local theatres as a director. She often feels she is directing her characters on their own private stage.
She has equated her writing to an addiction to chocolate because once she starts she just can’t stop.
Writing and chocolate! Yes, I totally get that 😉
Nice to meet you Jenna. I just joined the Yahoo Group and saw your post about rejection. I totally understand how you feel. I am a new self-published author who is struggling to promote her book without help from an agent or publisher, so the next time you feel down just remember how far you have come already and the slew of newbie author/writers just trying to get to where you are. You inspire me and I hope I be as successful as you one day.
If it wouldn’t be too much trouble, I’d like to ask you some questions concerning New Dawning International Bookfair. I’m getting ready to submit there and I’d like to ask you some questions about the company, from the author’s perspective. Please feel free to email at: firstname.lastname@example.org
lol! Hey, Jenna, you’ll have to change the “aspiring writer” line in your bio above. The way you’re rolling out the books you now qualify as multi-published!
I just noticed that too, Simone! And I hope the works just keep on coming!
Hey lovie! I have a wordpress site too although its less about writing and more educational stuff. You can swing on by if you want! Its dawnwylder.wordpress.com
I’ll definetly keep an eye on yours!
Hi, Dawn. I’ll check out your wordpress site without fail. Your comment was also sent to spam, but have been re-directed I hope. Thanks for stopping by!
