Welcome back to Six Sentence Sunday!

Thanks once again to everyone for your great support each week.  I do appreciate your comments, so keep them coming.  I also look forward to visiting your sites and reading your wonderful snippets.

Today is the last teasing from Scandal. I’ve gotten to the point I wanted to leave you with, but I’ll probably pick back up when the release date nears.  I hope I’ll have news soon for you about when it will be available.  Enjoy!

The masked man has purchased a woman in a brothel auction and has come to claim his prize.  His “slave” however, continues to insist there has been a mistake.  He has managed to turn the tables on the “lady” and call her virtue into question.  While evading the man’s advances, they discover a missing bit of vital information that seems turn the tide of his opinion of her.  Then, in a moment of weakness, Katarina lets down her guard and things begin to heat up. She was reveling in a scorching kiss from the stranger who is bent on taking further liberties when reality crashes back, safe haven becoming a trap she too easily falls into.  She makes a last-ditch attempt to free herself…and realizes she has been duped.  Then outrage takes over.

Panic gave way to cold fury.

“Take your person off me this instant!” She spat the words at him, still struggling with every ounce of energy left. “Or I vow I will see you die by my hand or my brother’s I care not which. I tell you for the last time that I am Lady Katarina Fitzwilliam.  And if you ruin me you bring equal ruin down         upon you and your entire family.”

My Sweet Saturday Sample and Six Sentence Sunday posts from January through May here at on my blog can catch you up to what’s been going on in the story.

Be sure to come back next week for a new six sentence offering on SSS.

Love how spitfire she is, especially in the face of this man. The women in his bed probably don’t usually threaten to have him murdered, lol. :c)

  16. Yes, she sounds seriously ticked off. Someone should have taught her to box an assailant’s ears. Of course, maybe that would just make him mad back at her…not good. You have us in your pocket, Jenna, and I’m sure, no matter what you share next, you’ll keep us there.
