Once again it’s time for Six Sentence Sunday, the last one until next year. Thank you to both first-time visitors and those who return each week. I appreciate everyone stopping by. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your families. Have a safe holiday season.
The release of my erotic Contemporary Almost Perfect inspired me to write a flash fiction story about Pam and Roger’s first Christmas together. In this snippet, Pam’s just insisted that Roger open one special present on Christmas Eve.
Roger snapped the tape on the lid and opened it. His brows furrowed and the little lines around his eyes tightened as he said, “It’s empty.”
“I know, but that’s because what was inside is now in the other room all ready for you.” The worry lines eased. “Come on,” Pam said, coaxing him to his feet. “I would never play a joke on you like that,” she said, putting her arms around him, holding tight.
If you’d like to read all of An Almost Perfect Christmas, check out my post for Dec. 16! And please visit the other Six Sentence Sunday snippets. You’ll be glad you did!
Have a great Sunday! Merry Christmas!
Yes, I’m wondering what’s in the next room too! Thanks for posting, though.
I missed the list deadline for this week, but I did get six sentences up! http://kelworthfiles.wordpress.com/2011/12/18/six-sentence-sunday-more-from-children/

I had to laugh – another writer uses silk sheets this week but not with the ensuing problems 😀 I believe your version is more accurate. Talk next year!!!
